-Day Two.

18 hours after the first American offensive, a second attack was launched against Iraqi installations.

A total of 17 misiles were fired this time in what was described as a mop up operation.

Latter in the day U.S. officials recognized that only 2/3 of the intented targets had been hit the previous day.
