  • AK-47 Rifle

    Named after his maker: Michail Kalasjnikov. AK is short for Avtomat Kalasjnikova, the number 47 is because this assault rifle was first introduced in the market in the year 1947. From then on, many, many millions of them have been produced, in the former USSR and several other versions manufactured under licence all over the planet. The favorite weapon of terrorists and freedon fighters alike. It is the rifle of the Chinisse and the Russian armies, also popular among the armed forces of many African and the Middle East countries. The "classic" AK-47 with a clip or 30 bullets, weights 4,3 kilos and it is 80 c.m. long. It can operate fully atumatic or bullet by bullet. It is sayed that it is not an accurate weapon but whichone is?.

  • ANTI-TANK WEAPONS.

    Specially designed to neutralize tanks, APC (Armed Personnel Carriers.)

  • C-7

    Canadian Assault Rifle
    Also known as the youngest brother of the American M-16. The rifle of the Dutch Army.

  • GRENADES

    The time between pulling the pin and explosion witn a grenade is from 3 to 5 seconds!!! An average ratius of 100 meters. Some of them are inciendiary, or cointain smoke or tear gas.



  • HOUTWITSER

    Rear Load Heavy Canon.
    The Houtsitser is generaly mounted on wheels. Unlike tanks, it cannot turn and is not as fast as them. It operates from the rear of the battle.

  • MINES
    All sorts, all purposess, all sizes, all colors and all prices. They are used in land and water. There are antipersonnel mines and antimaterial mines. They react to vibration and wheight but can also be exploded manualy. One of the cheapest mines is the Chinesse made T-72 about $3.00 a piece. There are about 100'000000 unexploded mines in 62 countries.




  • MLRS

    Multiple Launch Rocket Systems.
    Halftracks with MLRS mounted on top. MLRS can fire twelve rounds simultaneously with dual purose.
    They are antipersonnel and antimeterial. They can spread as far as four kilometers per round reaching an aproximate area of 30 kilomenters. Future models will be able to fire as far as 500 Kilometers.



  • MORTAR

    Short Distance Weapon.
    Mortars have been around for a long time. A light morter fires 60 m.m. caliber amunition and it goes up to 160. Heavier calibers are not mobile, they are transported with jeeps and APC. Dutch Marines used 120 m.m. (aprox 600 kilos) in Sarajevo. It has to be loaded from the front. Extrimely dangerous!

  • MOUNTED MACHINE GUNS

    Machine guns are fully automatic weapons. Some of them take clips instead of ribbons. The first machineguns fired 600 rounds per minute. They were introduced by the European colonial powers in Africa and Asia.

  • M-16

    Assault rifle. The American answer to the AK-47.

  • M-109

    The Supercanon
    The M-109 is mounted on tracks, a Houtwitser. Used by most Nato Armies and some Middle East nations. It fires 155 millimeter granetes as far as 30 kilometers.

  • NIGHT VISION

    Heat or infrared seaking devises used to spot enemy positions. Used by Infantry units and helicopter pilots. It is often mounted on assault rifles or head gear.

  • NON-LETHAL WEAPONS

    The first alleged Non-Lethal-Weapon was Agent Orange, introduced by the Americans in Vietnam with terrible consecuences for the indigenous population and some of the American servicemen. Today examples; Stick'ems: agents that glue vehicules and aircraft to the ground. Slich'ems: Agents that make roads so slipery that it is impossible to drive.

  • PATRIOT

    American Surface to Air Misile
    Former U.S.A. president George Bush used to call them the "Scudbusters" because of their performace against Saddam Hussein Scud attacks against Israel.

  • PISTOLS


    Automatic Hand Gun
    Unlike revolvers that fired projectils from a revolving cilinder, pistols have clips with a spring that propell the new bullet to the chamber right after the previousone has been fired. Most pistols fire 9m.m. bullets. Famous makes: the German Luger, the Walter PPK (James Bond favorite,) Browining and the famous Colt 45 Automatic, sported by (among others) the famous Mexican guerrillero Pancho Villa.

  • .50

    Rapid Fire Canon.
    Model Number: Mitrailleur Browning .50 (meanning half inch) It dates back to WWI. It reaches ground targets up to 1000 meters and 2000 meters for air targets.

  • SAM

    Surface to Air Missile
    70m.m. caliber SA-7GrailSam. The Russian answer to the American Stinger, only less advanced. Until the Dayton Agreement, it was very much used by the Bosnian Serves. It's total wieght is almost 11 kilos, the rocket itself weights 9 kilos.

  • UZI

    Every Israeli in the occupied territories has one. Every upper middle class Colombian is suspected to have one too for their own protection. The pride of the Israeli Military Industry.
