'banned'

Aernout Mik proposed to install an cabin for some daily and natural processes of physical recycling in an area were all reminiscences of these processes were banished: the Hofvijver area. For instance, leaves of the trees were collected in a daily rhythm, public toilets were deliberately removed. For the Stichting Hofvijvermusea the installed cabin was nothing more an ordinary 'shithouse'. It banned the work out of the 7th Museum project. (And we must say, they were consistently: the three watercloset appeared to be functioning perfectly for the public) After all the work was realized under responsibility of Stroom/hcbk alone (and sponsored by the Dutch porcelainworks 'Sphynx').
'Real' works make 'things' real, as an article in a newspaper ('Rumoer', in De Volkskrant) proved. It forshadowed the end of the 7th museum-real site project.
